About
Africaribbean
The AfriCaribbean Festival is a week-long annual Caribbean experience taking place in Freetown, Sierra Leone. This exquisite festival is the ultimate two for one special as patrons can check Africa of off their bucket list while enjoying the culture with tours to historical sites, and partying the Caribbean way at 8 fun-filled afro-soca events. Don’t wait, book now and ring in the New Year in Africa!
Our
MIssion
We did our homework, and we realized the strong cultural connection between Africa and the Caribbean. History teaches that slaves were traded from Bunce Island to not only North and South American but to the Caribbean. The AfriCaribbean festival gives many Caribbeans the opportunity to go “Home” as many Caribbean natives have traced their ancestry to Sierra Leone. Our Mission is soley to bridge borders and waters through culture, music and art where the outcome can only be diversity and unity.
